Before we get to the end of the tournament and a new team is crowned National Champion, I want to take a look back at Florida's glory. Here's One Shining Moment from last year's championship. In most instances One Shining Moment would just be a cheesy song and montage, but in college basketball it's the icing on the cake of the NCAA tournament. It's what everyone looks forward to after the trophy has been presented. The winning team and fans wait in the arena to watch it on the big screen. One Shining Moment is as much a part of the tournament as hoisting the trophy, confetti falling, and cutting down nets. College basketball players will say that as kids many of them dreamed of seeing themselves in One Shining Moment. This song is the culmination of the nearly month-long tournament, kind of like what the Closing Ceremonies are to the Olympics. I had One Shining Moment stuck in my head for about two solid weeks last year. Watching it now gives me chills. Expect more Florida videos in the near future.
