Flat Tire

So this morning before leaving the Ville I realized that my tire was completely flat. It was soft when we went to Cedar Key, but we put air in it and rolled on. What I saw this morning definitely couldn't be fixed with an air hose. Thankfully, my family was in town this weekend, so after they ate at Shoney's they came to see about the tire. I got a lesson in tire changing from my dad and uncle and now I feel that I'd be able to change a tire if the need arose. Turns out I had run over a screw that was lodged pretty deep.

After changing the tire we took it over to Tire Kingdom since I had just purchased four new tires just a little over a month ago (before driving to Atlanta for the Final Four). When we got there the guy said it couldn't be replaced since the screw was too close to the sidewall. However, he gave us a very, very, very good deal on a new tire and road hazard coverage for the future.

Before leaving the Ville I got some food from one of my favorite places: Waffle House! Of course, it was absolutely delicious. :-) I love that place so much. They were really busy so it took a lot longer than usual to get my food, but I can't be in a bad mood at the Dub House. :-)
