BCS Standings


The new BCS rankings are out. So far, nothing seems overly surprising. There's excitement in Baton Rouge today as the Tigers reclaim the top spot in the polls. Ohio State expectedly dropped after losing to Illinois, but I don't think I expected them to fall as far as they did. The previously unranked Illini are now 19th. Kansas, one of the two undefeated teams in the Top 25 moved up to #3. Hawaii, the other undefeated team is ranked 16th. Why isn't Hawaii higher even though they're undefeated? It's because of their low strength of schedule as a result of playing in the WAC (Western Athletic Conference). The Gators moved up three spots after beating the Gamecocks.
