So before this past weekend the longest losing streak to a single team belonged to Navy, who had lost 43 times to Notre Dame. This Saturday Navy beat Notre Dame 46-44 in triple overtime. Everyone at the Naval Academy and in Annapolis, Maryland is celebrating big time. Classes at the Naval Academy were cancelled yesterday to give the midshipmen more time to celebrate the win. Freshmen, or plebes, were given free time on Sunday instead of having to study the whole afternoon. The city of Annapolis is planning a celebration rally on Wednesday afternoon, all to celebrate one win. That's great and everything, but couldn't we at Florida have gotten at least one day to celebrate our National Championship?
