GMAT

So right now I'm in the library trying to do some GMAT practice problems. I started a GMAT prep course at TutoringZone this past Sunday. I'm taking the class to help me try to get a good score on the GMAT so that I can get into the business school of my choice. I was originally going to just try to study from a book because the Kaplan prep courses are so expensive. But TutoringZone is a lot cheaper, so I figured that an actual class would be beneficial. I'm really glad I made that choice. I realized on Sunday that I couldn't have done all of this preparation simply from reading a book. TutoringZone has been a big help to me in the past, so I'm pretty confident in their abilities to help me prepare for the GMAT.

Anyhoo, I'm working on the practice problems in the quantitative section and I'm getting sooo frustrated. I am not a math person by any means and the math on the GMAT is more complex than the SAT or GRE. I'm already having trouble with the problems and I'm only on the Math Fundamentals section. Fundamentals! As in, this is the easy stuff and it's only gonna get harder. I'm not even halfway through the problems and I already want to stop. I kinda want to just go work on the Verbal section because I know I'm good at that stuff. But since it's getting close to the end of the week and I need to get this done, I think I'll try to do the math first and save the easier stuff last when I'm pressed for time.
